Job Description and Responsibilities for the Product Manager
・ This position collaborates in key product strategy development concerning an assigned group of products.
・ Assist with short to long term sales and marketing objectives of the assigned brands through new product launches product promotions and pricing strategy.
・ Product Manager will also take an active role in building relationships with key opinion leaders and in managing industry trade shows.
・ Product Manager will actively take part in creating the overall strategy
Business Marketing Planning Activities:
・ Developing product strategies and propose action plans to comply aligned sales target by identifying growth opportunities as well as risk management via business analysis.
・ Analyze market （size trends and dynamics） based on available data.
・ Develop the long term strategy and marketing plan for assigned categories.
・ Work with Global Region and other stakeholders to plan execute interpret and leverage market research to support sales and marketing activities.
・ Monitor sales and financial performance making adjustments to plans as necessary.
・ Determine pricing strategy to maximize opportunities.
Product Marketing Activities:
・ Lead the whole process for product launch and product lifecycle management after launch.
・ Manage product quality related issues as a liaison with Global and developing and executing corrective actions where needed.
・ Critique product design and revisions to assigned products.
・ Solicit and coordinate end user feedback on specific products.
・ Be the liaison between the RA group and the Sales group.
・ Training of sales team and distributors as well as end users.
・ Develop effective market relevant sales and marketing communication materials and implement marketing programs to build brand equity preference and trade satisfaction.
・ Ensure the compliance of Code of Ethics all Company policies rules procedures and housekeeping standards.
・ Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to responsibility and ensure compliance to governing agency guidelines.
・ Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments.
・ Bachelor’s degree
・ At least 3 5 years of relevant business/marketing experience within the healthcare industry. （Medical device industry preferred.）
・ Prior experience working directly with private practice physicians is highly preferred.
・ Clinical knowledge in industry preferable.
・ Strong communication skills: written and verbal both in English Japanese.
・ Strong organizational skills: ability to multi task.
・ Computer and analytical skills
・ The candidate must be think on his/her own and must be able to take responsibility for his/her product.
